Steel Drop-In Anchors are all steel, machine bolt anchors with a pre-assembled internal expander plug. They can be installed flush with the base material or sub-set. Suitable for stone, brick, and concrete, steel drop-ins have a higher melting point than lead drop-ins. Anchor is set with several sharp hammer blows to the setting tool. The internal plug expands the back of the steel sleeve leaving a set-in-place, machine threaded insert. This anchor is commonly used to support threaded rod. One setting tool is furnised with each 100 Pack.
