EZ-RJ45 Smart Plugs These Smart Plugs are designed to meet Category 3, 5, 5e, and 6 standards and offer more reliable and faster terminations. The wires are inserted through the connector and out the front for verification of "proper wiring order" before crimping. Electrical performance of the termination is optimized by pulling the connector down over the cable jacket and seating it tightly. This design reduces the distance between wire twists and the contact improving MHz performance. Unlike standard plugs, Smart Plugs are also designed to work with both solid and stranded cable. Patent Number: 5,996,224, 6,017,237, and 6,105,299; foreign patents pending. Patents insured. 50 Microns of Gold. FCC Compliant. UL Rated. Made in the U.S.A.
NOTE: Strain relief boots are required for CAT 6 compliance. The EZSRB boots are designed to be crimped with the EZSP-6 connector becoming a permanent and integral part of the assembly, while providing the professional appearance of commercially molded patch cords.
