EZ RJ45 Plugs (Platinum Tool)
EZ-RJ45 plugs by Platinum Tool are the original pass-thru plug designed to meet Category 5, 5e, and 6 standards. EZ plugs offer more reliable and faster terminations. The wires are inserted through the connector and out the front for verification of "proper wiring order" before crimping. Electrical performance of the termination is optimized by pulling the connector down over the cable jacket and seating it tightly. This design reduces the distance between the wire twists and the contact improving MHz performance. Unlike standard plugs, EZ-RJ45 Plugs are also designed to work with both solid and stranded cable. Also available in a CAT 3, RJ11/12 pass-thru style plug. |
