The MSW Series is an alternative to the plastic low voltage mounting devices we currently offer. Some of our customers expressed that they would like us to add metal box eliminators to our expanding product line. The metal version is sometimes preferred because it is thinner. Metal is also less likely to crack when encountering sudden impact or shock during or after installation. Some have been using metal for so many years they simply do not feel comfortable with using the plastic ones. So we decided it made sense to carry both. Simply fold-over, metal-flap design with screws to anchor the device solid.
