1/4-20 x 1-1/4" Zinc Plated Bridle Ring with a Female threaded eyelet secured to an engineered Neodymium rare earth directional pot magnet.   These rare earth magnets (also known as permanent magnets) will maintain their ability to hold for 100’s of years.  Used to support low voltage wires and cable.

No beam clip or clamp attachment is faster to install than the PM-BRZ14114.  Literally place it on the desired position on the beam and let go.  We challenge you to pull it off.   The thicker the beam, the stronger the hold.  Locations:  Steel, Beams, Purlins, Ceiling Decks, Drop Ceiling Channels, Metal Joists, and Frame Rail

Why are these Neodymium rare earth “Pot” magnet beam clamps so strong?

Neodymium magnets are considered strong on their own because they resist demagnetization and have a high saturation magnetization.  In addition, the PM-1420 which is sunk into a steel pot in order to intensify the adhesive force of the magnet. This is why they are called “pot” magnets. They have a nominal breakaway strength of 90 pounds set by the factory.

NOTE: There are many factors that can influence the breakaway load, such as the composition and thickness of the base metal, the direction of the load whether mostly tension or shear, any coating on the base metal, the finish of the base metal and anything that effects the coefficient of friction between the magnet and the base metal.
