If you are looking for a simple, easy to install, less expensive alternative to the 2FMP28, this may be it. The SBC-58, too installs with just a smack of a hammer onto any beam 5/16" to 1/2" thick. This clamp will accommodate 1/4-20 threaded bridle rings in the front or the underside of the beam flange. It is also manufactured with a 1/4" hole for mounting electrical boxes, fixtures, and various other apparatus.
